About Me
Hi there! I'm Carrie Hauser and I've been sewing for over a decade! While I'd never touched a sewing machine until my high school days, I fell in love with the art of crafting fabric into beautiful shapes and designs in my very first sewing class. In no short order, I left my high school sewing studio and hopped over to The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I earned my degree in Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies. That's a fancy way to say Fashion Design.
While clothing was my original muse, I picked up quilting only a few years after leaving college and quickly realized that quilting is where my heart belonged. I got my start with longarming on APQS Millies and now I have my own APQS Lucey with a Quilt Path computerized quilting system. I have personally quilted hundreds of quilts and have even won a few awards for my own work (including a Best Of Show ribbon at the North Carolina State Fair).
I specialize in computerized edge to edge quilting, but I'm always interested in trying something new or different. Let's make beautiful quilts together!
