Pricing & Payments

  • How much do you charge for quilting?

    • I start at .0225 cents per square inch for quilting. The square inch price might go up to .025 or .03 depending on the density of the quilt design you pick. You may ask how many square inches is my quilt? To find that number, you'll want to multiply the length of your quilt top by the width of your quilt top. For example, if your quilt is 50" wide by 70" tall, you'll multiply 50x70 to get 3,500 square inches. Then you'll multiply 3,500x.0225 to get $78.75 for the quilting costs.

  • Can I get a quote on how much you'd charge for my quilt?

    • Absolutely! Go to my Receive A Quote page and enter your information. I'll email back a quote for your quilting costs as soon as possible.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    • I accept cash, check, Venmo, Paypal, and debit/credit cards.

  • What are the extra services you offer for additional fees?

    • I also offer quilt trimming, quilt binding, and pieced backing. Check my services page for pricing on these items.

  • Do you charge for thread or per bobbin?

    • I don't charge per bobbin or for how much thread I use on your quilt. I quilt too many quilts in a week to keep track of these things and would find it hard to estimate beforehand how many I might use. So to make your life (and mine!) a bit easier, I don't charge extra for these items.

  • What is your minimum quilting fee?

    • My quilting minimum is $50. If you have multiple small projects, feel free to use one large back to quilt them all on, or sew your backings together to avoid a minimum fee for each small quilt project.

  • Do you require a deposit?

    • No, I don't typically request deposits. You'll pay for your quilt when it's all finished. You can pay when you pick it up or I can bill you by emailing you an invoice.
